A tiger found in a Harlem public housing high-rise. Can someone please explain to me how you can a)be poor enough to live in public housing and b)have enough money to raise a tiger? I knew a guy who raised them way outside Wichita and he had lots of land. But in an apartment? What the hell was this guy thinking?
Posted by colin at October 6, 2003 03:02 PMmonday AM eyes fixed on the monitor. searching for a solid, clever comment to tie the snippet above to friday's, regarding roy. the tiger, clearly, is the link, but what of that...so what? something vague about the tiger hiding in that apartment to escape the authorities is persistent. lame, but irresistible almost, like a joke a dad might tell. probably would go ahead and make that lame quip too, if only a formulation could be found. at this point, i'd submit to the crassest brand of berinstein bearish anthropomorphizing (whoa, were they JEWISH?). i'd kill for some structure to link those tigers, so i can go get some coffee and put that tape into that machine, so i can be done with the southwest white and the new york bengal, and this nagging juxtaposition. how about them tigers, folks? biting and biting. in both cases there was a bite, i realize, typing faster now. aha!
Wow, guys, talk about a weekend that bites! (kills self)
