you put up a picture of someone mostly known for their voice work? come on now.. you're wasting electrons.

Now wait a minute. There's nothing wrong with that Chris. You're being a prick. And I should know, cause I'm one too. I liked the Price of Right in my day and if that's what this man is known for, good for him. I was sad when Captain Murphy (Harry Goz) died and he was known mostly for his voice work. Stop being an asshat.

now wait a minute you pustulant bowl of rat semen. I didn't say it was good that he died or that nobody cared. I merely pointed out that there's a huge picture of a guy that did voice work. Did you post a big picture of Goz? no. you posted a small picture of Captain Murphy. Its like posting an MP3 or Keanu Reeves band to celebrate his acting career. A waste of electrons.

I would never argue that this guy was a waste of space or in any way not deserving of grieving. I have no idea who he is and I care almost nothing for game show announcers, but it always sucks when someone dies.

Actually, he was shown on the Price Is Right probably 8 (random number) times every episode. I'm surprised you didn't recognize him actually. I can see your point about voice-over dude pictures, but it simply doesn't apply here. Besides, he's a funny-looking dude.

Asshat confirmed.

'dude' and 'actually' are apparently my two new favorite words.

'pustulant bowl of rat semen' is my new favorite phrase.

Seriously, though. I'm a bit tired of all the so-and-so is dead posts. If it's not Mr.T in a sombrero or Alan Greenspan, I'd rather mourn in private.

Unless, of course, it allows us an opportunity to harass Colin.

dissent, i do.

i approve of the death threads.

respect.

i'm with win (obviously, as i started this). there have been some significant artists and entertainers that have passed on this year. they deserve respect and mourning, even in our weird internet memory way.

rod roddy was flamboyant and fantastic and wore sequined clothes every day. and it is my lifelong dream to be on the price is right. i'm sad rod will never call another name or announce, "A NEW CAR!!!!"

the size issue should be a non issue as i apologized for the size as soon as it was put up. however, his jacket is fantastic so i don't feel that bad.

I wish it were a color pic.

I was sorry to hear Rod was dead but to be honest Rod must surely have been one of the worst gameshow announcers ever!. Only the dreadful, horribly nasel & muffle voiced Gene Wood was worse!
