I don't know whether you New York people have seen Gil Mantera's Party Dream, but tomorrow night would be a good time to do it. Tomorrow is Ultimate Donny's birthday and they're playing a show at the Knitting Factory. I've had my grille rocked off every time I've seen them play, and I'm sure this show will be a blast. Unfortunately, I can't be there, but you should go and then write a comment about how awesome I am for telling you to go see it.

I saw Psyche Origami at Cowboy Monkey here in Champaign last night, and they blew me away. It's two DJs and an MC, and they do a sort of Gas Station-themed show, culminating in a Devil-Went-Down-To-Georgia turntable battle. It was most nasty.

Anyway they're playing at the Darkroom, which means a few of you can practically fall off your front porch into the show. So, go get your faces rocked off.

BD, this would definitely be up your alley.
